WILTSHIRE

This was originally a lovely three bedroom cottage, set in the heart of a typically english village, but it sadly hadn’t been touched in years. The challenge was to modernise and extend it to allow space for extra bedrooms and a large kitchen without losing the charm and the character of the place. It also required all furnishing from scratch. We used a combination of bespoke pieces of furniture and beautiful antiques, some of which were sourced locally. The end result was to create a house which didn’t feel too ‘interior designed’ but had the comfort and charm as well as an element of fun. Some of the most commented on pieces are the table made from a vintage drum, a television stand made from a leather trunk, bedside lamps made from old fire extinguishers and a floor lamp made from a Cambridge Rowing Oar.
